Sukoshi Ryu Karate Kumite Competition
14th October 2007 - Rotherham

On Sunday 14th October 14 members of TASK attended the Sukoshi Ryu Kumite Competition at Rotherham. The TASK members were Alex Spaxman, Harvey Spaxman, Alfy Whitely, Harvey Whitely, Poppy Dawson, Ruby Dawson, Vinny Dawson, Josh Conroy, Ben Crossan, Connor Mallon, Olivia Bartley, Jamie Brack, Robbie Brack and Darren Brack.

Three teams were entered as follows:-

"Well Done" to all students who competed, the quality was very high and it was a tough competition.

Congratulations go to:-

Alex Spaxman for winning a Bronze (3rd place) in the girls 12-13 years category,

Harvey Spaxman, Connor Mallon and Alfy Whitely who managed to get a Bronze (3rd place) in the Under 9's team,

and

Alex Spaxman, Ruby Dawson and Ben Crossan who fought their way to very creditable Silver (2nd place) in the 12-13 years team event!
