Sensei Ian Boyes (2nd Dan)

I began my karate training in Wado Ryu firstly as a supportive parent in 1999 at the Acklam Sports Centre, under the guidance and support of Sensei Julie Jones and Sensei Elaine Clinton.

I was hooked after my first lesson, and practiced whenever I could. At the time I thought it was a impossible task, but in 2004 I achieved my 1st Dan.

In the same year I attended Schichidan Barry Tatlow's coaching course in Coventry and was ratified as a coach.

I have concentrated on coaching since then, but in 2006, the same year as our club became a part of T.A.S.K., I passed my 2nd Dan grade under Sensei Mark Raistrick and Sensei Julie Jones.
